We wanted to design a beanie for downhill skiing and riding that sheds snow and interfaces well with goggles. We were tired of the thick fleece and knit beanies that collect snow and have thick cuffs that leave a gap between the beanie and goggles. The ThermaGrid Beanie solves both of these problems. The woven grid-fleece fabric has a DWR finish that sheds snow and maintains breathability, while the backside features high-pile fleece nodules that locks in warmth and wicks moisture. The cuff is thin for a clean interface with goggles. This is a beanie designed for downhill and does not have an under-the-helmet fit.
- Low-profile cuff to wear seamlessly with goggles
- Woven outer with DWR finish repels snow
- High-pile fleece nodules on the interior retain warmth and wick moisture
- Reflective branding
