UNMATCHED REACTIVITY: The most reactive in its class
Equipped with the latest technology from UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) such as drones, the new pressure sensor integrated in BipBip PRO enables ultra fast sampling (100 times per second).
This centimeter accurate pressure measurement is processed with a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) especially customized for the specific needs of the free flight. The result is an ultra accurate and fast response time of altitude and vertical speed.
In its category (vario with pressure sensor only), this exclusive technology pushes the limits and makes the BipBip PRO the most responsive vario, allowing you to get the best out of every thermal.
SUNPOWER TECHNOLOGY: Unlimited flying times with solar energy
With its high performance SunPower solar cell of an impressive 193mW of power, the BipBip PRO is fully supplied with the sun whatever the settings (volume, sink alarm, LED, etc.). The extra solar energy is stored in a large internal battery and gives you 400 hours of runtime without sun. The solar cell charges the BipBip PRO as soon as it is under the sun (on or off), its autonomy is thus unlimited.
This new solar cell is thinner and more rugged thanks to an extra layer of PET/EVA, protecting it against drops and scratches.
EXCLUSIVE ACOUSTIC: Much more than just beeps.
The BipBip PRO has a new onboard buzzer and tailor-made amplifier, especially designed to produce a loud and clear sound.
This way a wide range volume level is available, (95dB at maximum volume), without even a dent in the run time.
\Mini variometer are famous for having a harsh tone. In order to slow you to fly in complete serenity, we have developed exclusive acoustics that deliver weed tones to the ear. The BipBip Pro has an onboard audio synthesiser to generate sound with envelope modulation (Known as ADSR), producing intuitive and enjoyable beeps.
Loud and clear:
We made a quick benchmark on audio volume of various mini variometers on the market and the result is impressive. A difference from 10 to more than 20dB means a volume up to 4 times louder.
For even more comfort, 5 volume levels are available, including a silent with blinking LED. You will hear the BipBip PRO loud and clear whether you use it on your helmet (even full-face helmet), shoulder strap, riser, or even your cockpit. The volume can be changed in a jiffy in flight with a simple push on the button.
Tests performed at 1013.25hPa in initial pressure, then simulation of altitude variation at +2m/s for 10s, i.e. 0.23452hPa/s, at maximum volume.

long and progressive beeps for more detailed information during the lift.
Short beeps for a clean and effective lift information
Your own rhythm.
We developed a new exclusive filtering algorithm for paragliding, with adjustable setting to choose the response time fitting you the best.
long integration time gives a more dampened, more integrated response for a better understanding of the lift information. Good for weak winter thermals with wide turning radius.
Short integration time has an almost instant response. Ideal for chopped down thermals or lee side during spring.
TAKEOFF DETECTION: Take off, the vario beeps.
Feature previously available on competition oriented instruments, takeoff detection mutes the vario until takeoff. Thus with BipBip PRO, pre-flight check and waiting for optimal take-off conditions are distraction free (and for your buddies too).
If needed, the vario can be activated on the ground simply by changing the volume. Also, takeoff detection can be disabled in the configuration menu.
WEAK LIFT DETECTOR: Don’t miss a thermal.
BipBip PRO weak lift detector is a short buzz modulation indicating a weak lift (from -30cm/s to +10cm/s), not worth turning but can give you a hint of a stronger thermal nearby.
On the drawing, the gray pilot doesn’t have the weak lift detector activated. The green pilot has it activated and when he reaches a weak lifting area, the buzzer helps him to find the thermal core.
