Icaro Yello Helmet

Description

Italian designed helmets. The 3 helmets were chosen by Ignazio Bernardi, our renowned designer and photographer.

The result is a helmet with a very modern look.

The shell is made of ABS plastic. There are 2 shell sizes: a smaller version for head circumferences from 53 cm to 60 cm, and a larger version for head circumferences from 61 cm to 63 cm. The shell has a thickness of 3 mm. The Polystyrene has a thickness of minimum 15 mm to a maximum of 27 mm. The density for the small shell is 60 grl and 70 grl for the larger shell.

Venting:

You can open or close the helmet’s 8 air vents using the central slide, with one hand only while you are skiing.

Visor Options:

2 versions are available; tinted grey or orange.

the visors have a foam protector to reduce the entrance of air.

Ear Covers:

The super-soft ear covers are different for each model and sometimes they are accompanied by a different strap fabric.

Sizing:

The size of a helmet is always described by the inner circumference of the internal padding.

The head-ring is flexible and can be adapted to all head shapes with a comfortable wheel regulator for a perfect fit of the head.

There are 5 available sizes across the 2 shell formats.

The size number corresponds to the head circumference in centimetres.

Small shell

• S    from cm 52 to cm 54
• M   from cm 55 to cm 57
• L    from cm 58 to cm 60

Large shell

• XL    from cm 61 to cm 62
• XXL  from cm 63 to cm 64

In these helmets, the internal padding pieces are fixed and they cannot be changed. The internal padding is made of “Coolmax”, a high-comfort fabric.

Weights:

Small helmet shell: 490 grams to 510 grams

Large helmet shell: 515 grams to 540 grams

Visor with foam: 87 grams.
