Description
GIN G-Chute (Drag Parachute for high aspect paragliders)
The GIN G-Chute is a small drag parachute that reduces the high G forces which may occur during the descent in a spiral dive. This enables the pilot to achieve a higher rate of descent with fewer turns and less G-force.
Depending on the glider and sink rate, the G-Chute will reduce the G-force by up to 30%.
The G-chute is particularly effective with high aspect ratio wings and is recommended for pilots who fly with the Genie Race series harnesses and a competition glider. After use in flight the G-Chute can be disabled using the apex line handle.
The GIN Genie Race 3 and 4 harnesses both feature a dedicated G-Chute pocket, with an integrated bridle attachment. The G-Chute can be attached to any other paragliding harness using the optional G-Chute Deployment Bag, which attaches to your hang point carabiners.
The GIN G-Chute is suitable for use with any brand of paraglider and harness.

S&W Verdict:
“Great tool to have if you don’t like hard spirals. Really drops the G loading whilst maintaining a high rate of decent. Not too bulky either and a few harnesses now come with special pockets for the anti G.”
