Protecting you from the cold of high altitude is the mission of these super Everest 8848 Paragliding Sleeves, in pure 700 Cuin down, for winter use or very high altitudes.
This latest version with magnetic closure makes it considerably easier to fit the sleeve onto the control system, in just 2 seconds.
The warmest sleeves in the Windsriders range will protect you from the cold (down to -30°C) for just 200 g (one size).
From the first generation of Windsriders sleeves (K2)which are much appreciated by hundreds of pilots, we’ve created a super version that’s even warmer, bigger and easier to use on take-off thanks to its magnetic closure. and guaranteed warmth even at the highest altitudes!
What’s the difference with K2-Zip sleeves?
– The length of the sleeve, which covers even more of the forearm.
– The overall volume of the sleeve, with larger cells and even more of that super 700 Cuin down.
– The automatic, purely magnetic closing system (no more zippers or post-take-off handling).
The magnetic closure makes take-off easy, with the sleeves on your forearms, bare or gloved hands. Once in the air, simply lift the Everest sleeve onto the brake handle, and press the magnetic closure with the other hand. The operation takes just 2 seconds – simplicity itself!
Inside, the hand is free, in contact with the handle and brake line, without discomfort. Secure the sleeve with the small internal Velcro fastener at the top, which locks the brake line in place but does not impede its sliding. Just make sure you have passed your brake line to the closing stop.
The muff is made of Super comforter 700 Cuin, and lined at the bottom with soft black synthetic fur.
Who is this Everest 8848 super sleeve for? Pilots who fly often, even in winter, and who want the ultimate in thermal comfort, without compromise, without worrying about batteries or charging, and with ease of use to boot.
